Shapeshifter Traits and Abilities
A selection of Traits and Abilities that only Shapeshifter Species may acquire.
Species Traits and Abilities are those that can only be acquired by creatures that have the necessary species prerequisites.
Purchasing these with XP will allow creatures to invest further into their own bodies and natural abilities.

Traits
Expert Shapeshifting
Increase your ability to shapeshift.
XP Cost: 2 Prerequisites: Shifter
Effect: Your shifting abilities are enhanced.
Shifting Into Creatures: Now when you shapeshift into animals and creatures you gain Movement abilities(such as flying movement), but your movement speed remains the same. You also gain natural weapons(such as bite or claw attacks, but not Venom or Poison) that creature possesses. Your HP and Attributes remain the same.
Shapeshifted Weapon: Now, if you choose to form part of your body into a weapon using a Motion it deals 1d8+2 Blunt, Puncture or Slash Damage.
Superior Shapeshifting
Further increase your ability to shapeshift.
XP Cost: 4 Prerequisites: Shifter
Effect: Your shifting abilities are further enhanced. You can now Shift into creatures up to 2 Size Categories Larger or Smaller than you.
Shifting Into Creatures: Now when you shapeshift into animals and creatures you gain Movement abilities(such as flying movement) and your movement speed is increased if the creature you shapeshift into has a higher speed than yours. You also gain natural weapons(such as bite or claw attacks, but not Venom or Poison) that creature possesses. Your HP and Attributes remain the same.
Shapeshifted Weapon: Now, if you choose to form part of your body into a weapon using a Motion it deals 1d10+2 Blunt, Puncture or Slash Damage.
Expert Doppelganger
Increase your ability to impersonate others.
XP Cost: 2 Prerequisites: Doppel
Effect: Increase your skill as a doppelganger.
Body Sculpting: Your Fine Motor Skill gains an additional Misc. +2 Modifier for Body Sculpting.
When you alter your features via a Motion or Action you may now adjust your height by 10 cm per plus one to your CON Modifier.
Superior Doppelganger
Further increase your ability to impersonate others.
XP Cost: 2 Prerequisites: Doppel
Effect: Further increase your skill as a doppelganger.
Body Sculpting: Add a Destiny Die to Fine Motor Skill Rolls for Body Sculpting.
When you alter your features via a Motion or Action you may now adjust your height by 20 cm per plus one to your CON Modifier.
Duplicitous Cunning
Increase your Intellect Attribute.
XP Cost: 2 Prerequisites: Shapeshifter
Effect: Your Intellect Attribute Total is increased by 2.
Unnatural Health
Increase your Constitution Attribute.
XP Cost: 2 Prerequisites: Shapeshifter
Effect: Your Constitution Attribute Total is increased by 2.
Shapeless Dexterity
Increase your Dexterity Attribute.
XP Cost: 2 Prerequisites: Shapeshifter
Effect: Your Dexterity Attribute Total is increased by 2.
Amorphious Strength
Increase your Strength Attribute.
XP Cost: 2 Prerequisites: Shapeshifter
Effect: Your Strength Attribute Total is increased by 2.
Strange Wisdom
Increase your Wisdom Attribute.
XP Cost: 2 Prerequisites: Shapeshifter
Effect: Your Wisdom Attribute Total is increased by 2.
Inconcievable Speed
Increase your Movement Speed.
XP Cost: 2 Prerequisites: Shapeshifter
Effect: Your Movement Speed is increased by 1 Meter per Movement.
Fluid Synapsis
Increase your Initiative.
XP Cost: 2 Prerequisites: Shapeshifter
Effect: You gain a +2 Misc. Modifier to Initiative.
Abilities
Shifting Separation
Gain the ability to separate part of your body into another smaller creature.
XP Cost: 3 Prerequisites: Shifter
Effect: You can shapeshift and separate part of your body into a Small or Tiny Creature. When you do so, the separated creature gains any abilities that the imitated creature possesses. You reduce your Maximum HP by up to 20 and it is gained by the separated creature. You retain control of the separated creature as long as it remains within 100 meters of you. If it moves or is moved more that 100 meters away from you it begins acting on its own in a manner consistent with the behavior of the imitated creature.
If the separated creature is reduced to 0 HP it is destroyed and the owning Shifter is considered to suffer from a Psychic Damage Wound and cannot regain the lost HP until they recover from the Wound.
You can perform this ability multiple times but are limited to a number of Separations equal to your Constitution Modifier(minimum of 1).
