Reputation

Word gets around eventually and regardless of whether it’s good or bad things, people tend to hear about the dealings of high profile mercenaries and heroes. A reputation can be rightly or even falsely earned, just like if enough people are retelling a rumor it no longer matters whether or not it’s true. The same goes for reputations, especially for mercenaries and heroes who will sometimes be forced to take on certain jobs in order to balance out the stories told about them.

Just like Notoriety one’s Reputation communicates a lot about them, these can be carefully and finely crafted into the the vision they wish to project or haphazard and changing seemingly at random throughout their life. Like Notoriety, one’s Reputation can vary from place to place as actions can be perceived and received in different ways by different cultures. Unlike Notoriety one can have multiple and Conflicting Reputations at once. This is, of course, entirely up to the discretion of the Narrator as usual.
