Invocations

Invocations are a type of magic performed by Invokers. Invokers use the power of faith and religious entanglement to Invoke the power of their gods or belief systems. Invocations are typically spoken commands, phrases or utterances that tie in with the Effect of the Invocation and the Type of Deity or Belief System worshiped by the casting Invoker. Invocations have many types and are based on the Deity or Belief System held by the Invoker. The types of Invocations are: Heavenly Invocations, Underworld Invocations, Outsider Invocations, Pantheon Invocations, Miracles and Chi Techniques.

Heavenly Invocations

Heavenly invocations are meant to inspire awe, worship and a belief in a pure and higher power. They typically deal Holy or Burn Damage when used offensively and have many avenues to grant healing, generate light and cause various effects on Undead.

Underworld Invocations

Underworld invocations are meant to inspire awe, fear and belief in dark powers to those that would seek them. They typically deal Burn or Necrotic Damage when used offensively and have many avenues to

Outsider Invocations

Outsider invocations are not meant to inspire anything. They exist without reason or explanation, driving those that use them more mad with every use. They typically deal Psychic Damage when used offensively and have many avenues to

Pantheon Invocations

Pantheon Invocations are meant to inspire the ideals of their individual deities. They have effects related to the concepts of their deities origin. For example; A Invocation of god of storms might generate lightning, thunder or the power of storms.

Miracles

Miracles are performed by Prophets of lesser gods. They are typically designed to aid the prophet in spreading the worship of their deity, often having practical applications at lower tiers and spectacular displays at the higher tiers.

Chi Techniques

Chi Techniques are a form magic performed through the filtration and redirection of possessed spirit energy. They are usually performed by those with a sound mind and forged body, able to redirect their Chi or spirit energy in useful and reliable ways through their body, movements and intent.
