Description

Hobgoblins are what many consider to be a perfect crossroads between Goblin and Orc. They are big and strong like their Orcish cousins but they are also cunning and resourceful like their goblin kin. Their skin coloration tends to be shades of green or yellow and their hair is usually darker shades and different levels of curly. Like orcs they can grow facial hair.

Society

Hobgoblins often form war-like societies and excel in times of strife. These societies are typically organized with a focus on rank, honor and prestige. Warrior states, Mercenary companies, war bands and military dictatorships are all common societal structures for hobgoblins. While this is the most common direction for hobgoblin societies, there are definitely exceptions. Some formed simply to defy the norm and carve a new path.
