Gulper / Gulpers

A type of ravenous amphibian that lurks by the water's edge and swallows prey whole.

Gulper / Gulpers

Level 2 Creature

Medium - Amphibian - Biped

Information

Gulpers are large two legged amphibians with a long tail used for balance, a voracious appetite and a massive toothless maw. Gulpers are known for swallowing prey whole and figuring out the rest later.

Behavior

Guplers are ravenous and dim witted, a dangerous combination. They will eat anything that moves and gets too close to their habitat.

Tactics

Gulpers like to lie in wait in mud bogs or shallow water, once their prey is close enough they move in quickly and try to snap up any accessible creature that looks like it will fit in their mouth. Once they have their prize they like to disengage from any aggressors or protectors and retreat to a safe distance to digest their newly acquired meal.

Weaknesses

Gulpers are notorious for their habit of occasionally misjudging the size of their prey and attempting to swallow prey that is too large to fit into their mouths and swallow.
