Description
Cradites are a crab-like species. They are typically tall and imposing with an upper set of large clawed arms, a lower set of smaller grasping arms and two sturdy legs. They have no necks to speak of, but their jet black eyes are on stalks, allowing them to reorient their view without turning their bodies. Their bodies are covered in a thick outer shell that protects them from harm. Their shells can range in color, including shades of rust red, brown, orange, green, black, blue and violet. They are often covered in various spines or spikes and have unique shapes depending on their environment of origin.
Society
Cradites are prone to congregations like their smaller brethren from the animal world, but are highly competitive within those congregations. This often results in the formation of feudal and capitalistic Cradite societies. Many cradites believe in pure pragmatism, often to a fault, focusing more on big picture results and less on the details such as individual feelings and relationships.
