Species Traits and Abilities are those that can only be acquired by creatures that have the necessary species prerequisites.
Purchasing these with XP will allow creatures to invest further into their own bodies and natural abilities.

Increase your Constitution Attribute.

Effect: Your Constitution Attribute Total is increased by 2.
Ancient Dexterity
Increase your Dexterity Attribute.
XP Cost: 2 Prerequisites: Arthropod
Effect: Your Dexterity Attribute Total is increased by 2.
Ancient Strength
Increase your Strength Attribute.
XP Cost: 2 Prerequisites: Arthropod
Effect: Your Strength Attribute Total is increased by 2.
Ancient Wisdom
Increase your Wisdom Attribute.

Effect: Your Wisdom Attribute Total is increased by 2.
Built in Weaponry
Slightly increases the effects of the creature’s natural weapon(s).
XP Cost: 2 Prerequisites: Arthropod
Effect: Your Natural Weapon(s) Attacks are Granted a Misc. +1 to Attack and Damage Rolls.
Built in Arsenal
Moderately increases the effects of the creature’s natural weapon(s).
XP Cost: 4 Prerequisites: Arthropod, Built in Weaponry
Effect: Your Natural Weapon(s) are now considered to have the “Brutal” and “Critacular” Weapon Traits.
Built in Armory
Drastically increases the effects of the creature’s natural weapon(s).
XP Cost: 6 Prerequisites: Arthropod, Built in Arsenal
Effect: Your Natural Weapon(s) Attacks are Granted an additional Misc. +1 to Attack and Damage Rolls.
Your Natural Weapon(s) now deal an additional 1d10 Damage of the same Damage Type.
Ancient Speed
Increase Movement Speed.
XP Cost: 2 Prerequisites: Arthropod
Effect: Your Walking or Crawling Movement Speed is increased by 1 meter per Movement.
Ancient Reflexes
Increase Initiative.
XP Cost: 2 Prerequisites: Arthropod
Effect: Your Initiative gains a misc. +2 Modifier.
Flight Maneuverability
Increase bonuses granted while flying.
XP Cost: 2 Prerequisites: Arthropod, Winged Flight
Effect: You do not provoke attacks of opportunity while flying and gain a situational +2 to DEX Saving Throws while flying.
Graceful Landing
Further reduce damage from hard landings.
XP Cost: 2 Prerequisites: Arthropod, Exoskeleton, Winged Flight
Effect: When you fall and receive damage from a hard landing, you may roll d6’s instead of d10’s from the Blunt Damage dealt from the distance of the fall.
Abilities
Antennae Scan
XP Cost: 2 Prerequisites: Arthropod
Action: Motion
Range: 1 Meter
Effect: You use your antennae to scan an adjacent creature. When you do so, you gain a Destiny Die that you may use on any Skill or Attack Roll vs that Creature. You can only acquire 1 Destiny Die at a time on an individual creature at any given time.
