Armor Points

Armor is a representation of the protective layers a creature possesses.

Armor is a representation of the protective layers and non-essential systems a creature possesses. Armor Points are granted by protective shells and armors and act as a second pool from which a creature may make subtractions when they are dealt most types of damage. When a creature is dealt damage, they may choose to subtract the damage from either their HP Pool, their Armor Pool, or a combination of both. This choice is optional, and is not available when the damage was dealt by a Targeted Attack or Psychic Damage.

Calculating Armor Points

Armor is always a static value granted by your species, traits or current worn armor or clothing.

Repairing Armor

Creatures can repair armor with similar materials or a Toolkit at a rate of 1 + Fine Motor Skill Modifier per Hour spent working on the task. Creatures are considered to be Resting while repairing armor.

Paying for repairs should cost about 1 Silver/Dollar/Credit per Armor Point Restored and should take roughly 2 Hours per Suit of Armor, per Armor Type. Meaning a Light Suit of Armor should take 2 hours to complete repairs, a Medium Suit of Armor should take 4, and a Heavy Suit of Armor should take 6.
